5 out of 5 stars Toddlers love this book!   August 9, 2010
Jen New Mom (Springfield, IL)
My son got this book when he was approximately 18 months old and he wanted to read nothing else! At age 2, he still loves all the pictures and quickly learned the names of all the machines in this book. This book also helped him identify these same machines in the real world...he still loves all the tractors, emergency vehicles, and trains (okay, all of them) and points them out when we are driving around. I highly recommend.

5 out of 5 stars Asked for over and over again   May 31, 2010
Lit Diva (Midwest)
We bought this book for our son's first birthday. He's now 18 months old and absolutely loves it! He brings it to us to read with him at least once a day. We loved it so much we bought a copy for our daycare--and everyone there now loves it! If a little person in your life loves things that go, this is a great choice.

5 out of 5 stars Great book for little truck aficionados   May 29, 2010
Designer (Los Angeles, CA)
If you have a little one obsessed with trucks, cars, airplanes and all things machinery then this is the book for you. My 18-month old sits and goes through it on his own, he loves it so much. Highly recommended.

5 out of 5 stars Great Buy   February 5, 2010
Julie Pipestem (Oklahoma City, OK)
I bought this for my 4 year old autistic son and he absolutely loves it. He loved it so much that I bought him a second one to keep in the car. He carries it around with him all around the house and he now knows every machine in the book without my help. I also recommend other Priddy books such as "First 100 Words" and "First 100 Animals". They really help with speech and expansion of vocabulary words.

5 out of 5 stars Great book for boys   December 28, 2009
B. Jorgensen (Nebraska, USA)
My son is almost 2 years old; I got this for him for Christmas and he loves it.
He loves to point at the machines and let us tell him what it is. Then we also reverse it; we ask him to locate the motorcycle, bus, etc.
It has pictures of just about every machine you see.
I think this says it's for ages 4-8; I'd say that's wrong and younger kids will like it. I would think older kids would want a story line, and there is no story.
